A qualifi ed teacher and mother of three, Deirdre was born in Sussex. She enjoys exploring favourite and familiar places as much as seeking out new locations which are tucked away, yet to be discovered. Deirdre runs community-based Young Writers Workshops in mid-Sussex and is author of the children's story Jake, Zee-Bee and the Crystal Quest.
