This series of photo activity packs explores life in a small village in Southern India. Each pack includes beautiful colour images of the people of Mettupalayam going about thier everyday business. In addition to the photographs, detailed teacher's notes outline the background of the village and its links to charities both in India and the U.K. A series of lesson plans cover National Curriculum programmes of study for Geography in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 - designed so that this village can be studied more than once as children progress through the year groups. Suggested activities and photocopiable materials complete this resource - everything a teacher needs for a half terms geography lessons and more!
