A-Z

A range of road maps covering the areas around the five most densely populated cities in the country. These single sided, full colour maps are available either folded; with an integral protective card cover or, on request, as a flat creaseless rectangular sheet. Scales are appropriate to the shapes of the areas covered; either at 3.2 or 3.5 miles to the inch. Maps are printed with a suitably located index alongside the mapping.
A-Z 50 Miles Around

We offer an A-Z counties map of the British mainland and Northern Ireland here, with adjacent counties being shaded in different pastel hues. The map is compact but with a large index of place names and co-ordinates apppearing around its edges. This saves on wall space, as these areas would only have displayed blank sea otherwise.
A-Z Admin Map

The A-Z County Atlas range features full coverage road mapping of title areas- ideal for reference and route planning, plus street mapping of principal cities, towns and villages. These are very well known and popular products, spiral bound (unless stated otherwise) allowing pages to be kept easily. Labelling includes hospitals (with hospital index), industrial estates, one way streets, places of interest, sports facilities, car parks and shopping centres. Postcode information and boundaries are shown too. -
A-Z County Street Atlas

A range of products for large city areas, plus one for the whole of Great Britain. Digital City Street Atlases allow users to pan and zoom through four levels of street and road mapping, and print off maps for personal use. The GB Superscale CD ROM allows the user to pan and zoom through three levels of road mapping. Both feature a fully searchable index and allow viewing of mapping in a 3D landscape.
A-Z Digital Atlas

This range gives excellent coverage of the streets of London. It comprises nine identically sized maps, which may be joined together as required. When all are used in conjunction, they cover the entire Greater London area. These single sided, full colour maps are available either folded, with an integral protective card cover or, on request, as a flat, creaseless rectangular sheet.
A-Z Master Series

A-Z Mini Maps are ultra-compact central street plans of popular cities and towns, offering great value for money and using an identical mapping style to Premier Maps. A Mini Map unfolds to roughly A3 size, and sports a detailed street index on its reverse.
A-Z Mini Maps

This extremely useful double sided map has postcode mapping of the capital city on one side and all the London Boroughs on the reverse. Adjacent boroughs are shaded differently and borders clearly represented. This is a standard office wall product in London
A-Z Postcode Maps

A range of sixteen street maps of the most popular cities in England, Scotland and Wales. All feature A-Z's proprietary, easily understood street mapping. At scales suitable for the sizes of the cities covered, they also display an index panel adjacent to the mapping which lists (and gives co-ordinates for) the streets. These single sided, full colour maps are available either folded, with an integral protective card cover or, on request, as a flat, creaseless rectangular sheet.
A-Z Premier Series

The Superscale Atlas pays special attention to the ports and channel tunnel, making it a must-have item for all cross channel car, coach and lorry drivers. A great value and compact "Handy Atlas" is also available for customers on a lower budget.
A-Z Road Atlas

A-Z Road Map

A-Z was founded in 1936 by Phyllis Pearsall MBE in Gray's Inn Road, Central London, when she had difficulties getting to a party using an Ordnance Survey map! She produced her first map of London and the suburbs with the help of a single draughtsman. After an initial lack of marketing success, she was able to deliver 250 copies of this first edition London A-Z in person to WHSmith - in a wheelbarrow! These copies sold out quickly and her company took off. In 1962 the company moved its HQ to Borough Green, but kept the old offices in Gray's Inn Road as a showroom. Renamed "The Geographers' A-Z Map Company", the business started by Phyllis Pearsall now produces a variety of products (over 350 publications, using proprietary, easily followed mapping) and has become not only one of the biggest names in the cartographic industry, but a household name as well.
A-Z Street Atlas

Street mapping for popular cities and towns not covered by the Premier series. All carry an index of street names, places of interest, railway stations, hospitals etc. Available either in folded form with integral protective card cover or as a flat creaseless sheet. -
A-Z Street Plans

The A-Z visitor atlas series offers an atlas plus a guide, in booklet form, for some of the most popular tourist areas in Great Britain. With titles including the Lake District, Scotland and Devon, Cornwall including West Somerset, these region-based products provide full coverage road mapping, plus town plans of all of the most popular areas. Following the road and street mapping are two separate indices; the first being of cities, towns, villages, hamlets and locations, and the second being a topically based index dedicated to selected places and features of tourist interest such as gardens, museums zoos etc.
A-Z Visitors Guide

Visitors maps from A-Z offer detailed road mapping, with inset town plans of main locations plus tourist details, all on one handy folded sheet. Each map in this range holds an index of places of interest, and the mapping is clear, detailed, and clearly marks places of tourist interest; including information centres, caravan sites, camping sites and golf courses.
